Battery leak onto film?

There's no info on the web but, I'd like to know how i can salvage my film when the battery has leaked on it. Its the lomo coloursplash film.

I would try a pre-wash before you add the developer when developing your film ... that will wash away any of the leakage so it does not effect the developer ... there will be some parts of the negative that will be effected, but at least the film will develop properly.

I don't think it is salvageable because you develop film with chemicals and the stuff from the battery are other type of chemicals and they could cause problems with the other one.

Or take it to a good camera shop and say please help me if the pictures were valuable to you
