Battery operated 12-volt power supply?

Question

I got a board camera which requires to be run off a 12 volt power supply. I can't get one that has wires, i need something battery operated. Also it says it can run off a 9-volt battery what does that mean? I just stick it on the battery? I need something quick I can pick up at radio shack or something. HELP ME PLEASE I NEED SOMETHING FAST!@!!!! THANK YOU :DDD

If it says it can run from a 9 volt battery, I'm sure it must.  The 12 volt power supply would be regulated down to 9 volts in the camera.  There must be terminals marked for the battery connection.  You would need to make sure the battery is connected past the regulator.  Do you have any kind of manual or instructions?  It should say in them.
