Battery wiring diagram for a 2001 Charly electric scooter she needs to get @ w?

scooter was given to her to get @ with batteries were dead and just purchased new ones but can't figure out how to connect them to scooter. I think there is a cord missing which I would pray that somewhere someone has a wiring diagram. tried the net but of no help. i am not computer savvy so that is why i am here. thanks.

The red cable goes to the positive side of the battery.  The negative side is tied to the scooters frame.  This is why you have just one cable.
