Zaka Ashraf, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has once again emphasised that he wants the Green Shirts to be the number one ranked team of the world in all formats by the end of next year and hiring a batting coach will be a part of that process.
While talking to Pakpassion, the Chairman PCB expressed that he is looking for a high-quality batting coach to add some stability to the Green Shirts’ performance with the bat.
“I’ve made it clear that my ambition is that I want Pakistan to be the number one team in the world in 2013 and as part of that plan I want to have the best coaches,” Ashraf said. “http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Intikhab-Alam-c64380 will form the selection panel and will decide upon who is given the job.”

The infighting within the team and different scandals had an adverse effect on the team’s performance. The only hurdle in Pakistan’s progress at the global level is their unpredictable batting line-up, which has the tendency to succumb under pressure.  
The Chairman added, “We feel that our batsmen need certain levels of support and some help in building their confidence and also to make them mentally stronger, so the Board and I felt that we needed a professional batting coach in place to assist our batsmen.”
