  1. Is this question a joke? If this match was ever made, the athletic commissions would have Kostya Tszyu's death on their consciences.

  2. robinson in 1943 (the last time his weight was anywhere near 140 pounds) would outpoint tszyu in a tough battle.

  3. Robinson's best was at 147.  If he didn't drain himself to get to 140, I see him dismantling Tzuyu.  Too fast, too powerful.  I see Robinson boxing early, thwarting Tzuyu's aggressive rushes, and stopping him within 8 rounds.

  4. Robinson would have been too big and too strong for tzuyu, moreover robinson's style would have worked well against tzuyu's style of fighting...this would be a pretty one sided affair.

  5. I enjoyed watching Kostya work in the ring, was amazed at how he made that style of fighting work so well at such a low weight.  But that style would get him obliterated against Robinson's right.  But keep in mind that Robinson was a stretch to make 147, he was a much bigger man than Kostya, that fought at 140.

  6. Sugar Ray Robinson

  7. As big of a fan of Tszyu as I am, I will still have to pick Sugar Ray Robinson. Robinson seems to be naturally bigger anyway.
