Battle of the burrito? In DC what is better Baja Fresh or Chipolte?

It is spelled Chi-pot-le, and pronounced that way (chee-pote-lay), not chi-pol-te.

Baja Fresh is neither.

Baja Fresh charges for melting cheese..they seem like they are trying to nickel and dime you....Chipotle is better.

Chipolte has what it has, is well run, corporate, has good stuff and is organized.

Baja Fresh in the DC area has had health code violations at most all of their units in the DC area. They are always getting busted for illegals. Service is horrible and 9 times out of ten nobody speaks english (I speak Spanish fluently). If I wanted that sort of thing I would revisit central america.

Stick to Chipolte.

Forget DC!!  The best one was in Virginia and it's closed now.  (Chipoltle is too hot!)  Baja fresh allows you to moniter your hotness...

I prefer Baja Fresh but there or more Chipoltes around us.  My wife is just the opposite.  I think the veggies are better at Baja as is the Chicken.  I used to live in SOCAL and Baja Fresh was by far the preferred out there.

Chipotle has the better burritos, but I feel as if Baja Fresh is a better value.

I have always preferred Chipotle... There is something about Baja Fresh that makes me feel sick after eating there...  So i don't anymore.

I don't know too many people who prefer Baja Fresh over Chipotle.

I myself, am in favor of Chipotle.

I don't eat burritos, but Chipotle has far better tacos.  I also appreciate that Chipotle offers vegetarian on the menu, while Baja Fresh doesn't.  I also like crispy tacos, which I don't think Baja Fresh has.

Q'doba!  Although it's a pretty new chain, look for it - it's fantastic!

Between Baja Fresh and Chipotle, I prefer Chipotle
