Battlefield 3 gets Physical Warfare for free, Ninja Gaiden 3 dated
PlayStation 3 gamers can download the Physical Warfare DLC pack for free from the PlayStation Store and Ninja Gaiden 2 gets an official release date
Electronic Arts seem to be getting into the festive spirit a little early as they have announced that the Physical Warfare Downloadable Content Pack is now available for download free of cost. The offer is only valid to PlayStation 3 however and users who
can download the game via the PlayStation Store absolutely free of cost.
The deal continues the arrangement Electronic Arts and Sony have over the exclusivity of certain content as the Physical Warfare pack is a PlayStation 3 exclusive. Deals like this are often timed exclusives, with one party getting the benefits or rights
to use it before the other, yet this one in particular seems to be an exclusive-exclusive if you know what we mean.
With the ability to unlock the DAO-12 Shotgun complete with flechette ammunition to shoot at enemy soldiers, i.e. other players with, as well as a flash suppressor for one of the sniper rifles which happens to be the SKS Sniper Rifle.
The main attraction for the pack though has to be the Type 88-Light Machine Gun which brings a touch of the old school firepower to the latest modern military shooter.
Previously only available on to those gamers who pre-ordered themselves a copy of Battlefield 3, it seems EA wish to make the DLC available for everyone’s gaming pleasure.
In other news, Ninja Gaiden fans have a date they ought to mark down on their calendar. Tecmo Koei have announced an official release date for the third instalment in the popular series.
Fans can expect to get their hands on the game on the 20th of March, however at the same time there is an added bonus thrown in for good measure as well.
Those who fork out the extra cash for the Collector’s Edition of the game will also get access to a demo of the upcoming Dead or Alive 5. For those of you who are wondering...no, it is not the beach volleyball edition of the Dead or Alive series but rather
the more conventional game that gamers will be able to get their hands on.
Costing the standard $100 that almost every Collector’s Edition seems to be priced at these days, the special edition will only be available from GameStop and EB Games. The edition itself will come with “an exclusive Ninja Gaiden 3 ‘Unmask’ game art book,
soundtrack CD, and a unique ‘Duel of the Masked’ figure.”
The figure itself will not be available anywhere else apart from the Collector’s Edition.
