  1. I also wear bausch and lomb contacts.  I wear purevision toric.  You can wear for 30 days of continous wear which means you can sleep in them.  I just would not recommend doing it because it deprives your eye of oxygen.  You do not need them while sleeping anyways.  In my opinion the only lenses that should be worn while sleeping are Ortho K where the are designed to reshape your cornea so they do not need to be worn during the day.

  2. If it's your first time wearing lenses you should take them out.  Generally, you need to build your wear time beginning with 4 hours and building by two hours everyday.  B&L makes several types of lenses, so depending on which type your were prescribed, you may be able to sleep in them.  All of this should have been made clear to you at your appointment.  To be safe, take them out at night until you can get clarification from your doctor.

  3. Call up your optometrist to check if you should.

What kind of lenses are they?

In terms of eye health, it's not advisable to sleep with foreign objects in your eyes.  Even with those lenses that manufacturers claim are safe to wear while sleeping, it's always better to take them out if you can.

  4. Depends on what kind they are and if your doctor approves.  Best to call your optometrist when you can and ask.  Until then, I suggest not sleeping in them just to be on the safe side.  Get a case and some solution for them.  :)

  5. Preferably remove the lenses before hitting the bed.
