  1. If you take a car from Munich to Venice and you dont go on a Friday night or Saturday morning then you can make it under 5 hrs. Thats driving faster than allowed but its not a problem. Not too many spped limits on the German highway, Austria is very strickt but so small that it doesnt really count. Italy has speed limits but being that the highway patrol is ALWAYS in some coffee shop enjoying their espresso, there's very little chance of being stopped. I've been speeding down to Italy doing 180 to 240km/hr at least  once a month for the past 18 years and didnt get a ticket yet. It will take MUCH longer by train and you wouldnt have the lluxoury to stop at all the beautiful places you will pass.

  2. The distance between Munich, Germany (Bavaria) and Venice, Italy is 313 miles or 504 kilometers.  Since your question did not contain a specific city or town, I chose Munich, having lived there.  It is the largest southern most city with a centralized railroad (HauptBahnHof), international airport (Flughoffen) and the national highway (Autobahn).

If you are traveling by train, Munich HBF to Venice Postojna, the travel time is 7 hours 32 minutes.

Flight time is 1 hour 15 minutes.

    I hope this helps, Tchuss.

  3. depends from where in Bavaria you start, it's a state of Germany, not a town.

Example: from Hof (north Bavaria) to Venice it's about 830 km (520 miles)

from Garmisch-Partenkirchen (south Bavaria) it's around 440 km (275 miles)

  4. 404 miles..take a train
