Bavarian Princess set to win Holiday Inn Wolverhampton Fillies’ Handicap
The Mrs K. Burke trained bay filly, Bavarian Princess, is all set to claim the ace title of the Holiday Inn Wolverhampton Fillies’ Handicap here at Wolverhampton on Monday, July 30 by capitalising on the form produced by her outstanding victory of February
2012.
The £4,205 race is scheduled to start at 8:05 (GMT). The young and momentous runner will face 9 worthy rivals on the standard track of 5 furlongs and 216 yards.
At the same venue on February 11, the brilliant daughter of Invincible Spirit out of Lileagh marvellously accomplished a tremendous triumph in the Wolverhampton-Racecourse.Co.Uk Fillies’ Handicap over 7 furlongs.
Earlier in October 2011, the Maura Gittens bred fantastic filly grabbed a grand victory at Wolverhampton. That was the Ladbrokes Game On Handicap (Div II).
During the very next month, she nicely finished 3rd in the 11-runner event of the 32red.Com Handicap (Div I) again at Wolverhampton.
Thus, the filly is well-familiar with the track she will run on after a few hours. This is likely to lend a great hand to the enthusiastic runner. Overall, she has up to 90 percent chances to thrive.
However, Bavarian Princess will have to face tough competition from Piddie’s Power who is awash with confidence following her epic victory in the Bernard Coughlan 60th Birthday Fillies’ Handicap (Turf). The Class 5 race was held at Lingfield on
May 26, 2012.
Prior to this, the Ed McMahon trained chestnut mare grabbed two consecutive runner-up ranks during September-October 2011. Overall, the 22-race experienced sprinter has two classic conquests to her name.
The daughter of Starcraft out of Telori has experienced Wolverhampton for many times in her career. Thus, she can easily give enough tough time to Bavarian Princess.
In this situation, a fierce battle is expected between these two strong contestants. Let us see who turns to be the champion.
Fenella Fudge will also perform well in the race. The Derek Shaw trained bay filly nicely notched up top spot in the Marshal – Tyregiant.Com Handicap at Beverley on June 13. She moved on to get a third and a 4th position in the two subsequent
starts.
By and large, the event will be amazing to watch. Good luck to all the runners.
