Bay Road to break the shackles in Dobbins @ Shelbourne A2 525 at Shelbourne Park
Bay Road needs just a slice of luck to dominate the proceedings in the Dobbins @ Shelbourne A2 525, scheduled to take place at Shelbourne Park on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. The 525 yards meeting will be kicked off at 21:10 (GMT).
Since there are plenty of dangerous runners in the line-up for the Grade A2 event, it will be a tough decision for those interested in staking their money. So, we bring an exclusive preview in order to make things easier for
the punters.
Bay Road is going to face five quality runners including Head For Fame, Bellmore Woody, Walk On Fire, Daretobe Mine and Blackhall Dee. The winner of this high profile contest will receive a cash prize of €350.
Bay Road has been very consistent over the past few weeks. After completing the order of finish in two consecutive open races, the black dog stepped down to the A1 grade and did a decent job.
In both of his previous races, he missed the gold medal by a few lengths. Stepping down to this class will give Bay Road a lot of confidence and therefore, one can easily expect him to produce a positive result this time.
Out of others, Head For Fame seems to the most powerful candidate. The black dog is full of spirit following a tremendous success last week.
In a 569 yards race, T. Bolton’s trainee sealed the top rank by two and a half lengths. Head Bound’s son is coming back to this venue after a long break and might take some time to familiarise himself with the conditions.
Walk On Fire has been struggling with his form since winning a similar contest at the start of April. Bellmore Woody is returning to this class after suffering a few terrible defeats. Similarly, Daretobe Mine and Blackhall Dee
are unlikely to do anything special tonight.
Head For Fame is going to be the biggest threat to Bay Road. However, according to our calculations, Mason’s charge will be able to notch up the first rank easily. We wish the best of luck to all runners.
