Bay meadows race track in San Mateo, Calif. Do they have real horse racing or is it just a TV screen showing?

Yes they run races and training at Bay Meadows. It just isn't one of the "premier" Cali tracks. They were going to close it since all Cali tracks must go to an artificial surface ( poly-track or cushions track), but they either found the money to change the track or got a reprieve (sorry I can't remember which).
