Bayan tipped to win Blue Square Maiden Stakes
Bayan has got the best chances of winning the Blue Square Maiden Stakes at Haydock in England on Saturday, June 2, 2012. The winner of the class-5 event will be awarded a cash prize of £2,911.
Stamina will play a crucial part in the race, as the overall distance to cover will be 1 mile, 3 furlongs and 200 yards. The action at Haydock is scheduled to begin at 13:40 GMT and following entries have been confirmed: Noble Alan, Stock Hill Fair,
Taigan, Big Time Billy, Dawn Gale, Badea, Bayan, Hard Road, Pistol, Reigns Of Glory, Star For Life and Fleeting Image.
The spectators at Haydock will be provided with some wonderful action of horseracing, as some quality runners are taking part in the event on Saturday. One of them is Bayan, who has a solid chance of winning, thus he will attract a lot of bets from
the punters.
The three-year-old colt does not have a lot of experience, but will definitely make things difficult for his rivals. He has participated in a couple of events until now, winning none of them. However, he has secured the third spot once, which shows
that he is capable of fighting at the front.
Importantly, the Brian Meehan’ trainee is in good form at the moment, as he took his career-best third place in his previous outing. Despite not being rated as the favourite to win, he was expected to trouble his opponents. He has got a very good stamina,
which will help him make a strong impression in Saturday’s race as well.
Bayan will be partnered by seasoned jockey, Frankie Dettori, who has enjoyed a lot of success at this level and is one of the finest riders ever in the history of the sport. He has got a fantastic strike rate and the punters will definitely risk a
lot of bets in his favour.
Other than that, Fleeting Image might also manage to attract a few bets in her favour, as she is a decent performer. Although she has never managed to win any race, her performances at this level have been impressive. She will not allow Bayan to walk
away with a victory comfortably at Haydock.
