German club, Bayer Leverkusen, have tied knots with the United States international goalkeeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Yelldell. The shot-stopper is yet to pass a medical for the club but has reportedly agreed other terms with the Werkself. The addition of Yelldell would
provide Rene Adler and Fabian Giefer with stiff competition for a place in the line-up. Yelldell represented 2. Bundesliga side MSV Duisburg in the 2010/11 season.
The player mentioned that all the formalities have been settled between the both clubs. He was delighted to have signed with one of the top division outfits and vowed to justify his selection in the Leverkusen colours. He was determined to make his mark
at Bay-Arena and impress the one and all with his outstanding displays. The 29-year-old admitted the fact that it would be difficult to replace an experienced campaigner like Adler in the goal but was confident about his success at the club.
The Werkself manager, Robin Dutt, was also pleased with the arrival of the Stuttgart-born player from Duisburg. He reckoned that the player would have to work extremely hard for his first team opportunities and at the same time expected Yelldell to help
out his fellow stoppers during the training sessions.
Leverkusen executive director, Wolfgang Holzhauser, enthused, "In David Yelldell, we have added an experienced goalkeeper to our squad. With him, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/René-Adler-c30848 we are well prepared in this important position for the upcoming challenges."
On the other hand, Duisburg manager, Milan Sasic, was disappointed on parting ways with the U.S. international and wished his experienced man all the best for his future in the top division.
Yelldell joined Duisburg in 2010 and managed 29 league appearances. He also has represented the likes of Stuttgarter Kickers, Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/United-States-c3034 this year
