Bayer Leverkusen manager Robin Dutt has expressed his satisfaction on the win against FC Kaiserslautern this weekend. The boss claimed that the team has shown immense improvement after a slow start to the season and are now surely
on the right track. He added that it was a difficult away game but the players showed the character and were deserved winners in the end.

Dutt praised Leverkusen for the brilliant performance in the match. He claimed that the team totally deserved the 2-0 victory and admitted that the result was vital for the side’s top-four chances at the end of the campaign.
The former Freiburg boss added that the side can surely end up in the top four this season if they continue to perform consistently and show some more passion.
“I think we played really well here today. We took it upon ourselves to be more courageous. We finally deserved our victory. At the Betzenberg you have to equal the passion and mentality of the home team, that's when you can win
here,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The opposition manager Marco Kurz rued missed opportunities in the match and admitted that it was a very poor performance. He claimed that the team failed to take their chances and that the finishing was dreadful. The boss has
called for improvement and wants to end the season on a good note.
“We squandered the chance to take the lead in the first half. After going 1-0 behind the game broke down, but we have to learn to put the finishing touches on our chances and make them count. Then we could win in matches like this,”
