The Croatian full-back joined the German giants on-loan until the end of the season after limited first team opportunities at White Hart Lane.

will add a lot of quality and experience to the squad and his presence will surely be helpful for the youngsters at the club.
“With this signing, we provide ourselves with a high-quality alternative. Vedran Corluka is a seasoned professional who can give our team an immediate quality boost,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Meanwhile, the club’s director of sport, Rudi Voller, stated that the Croatian international is a versatile player and that he can play in the centre of defence as well which is great for the club. The former player hinted that
Corluka’s contract also has the option of a permanent deal at the end of the season.
“He can be used not only on the right side, but also in the centre or at left-back. We are very pleased that we were able to realise his transfer,” he concluded.
