plays for a great club in Europe.
Leno joined Werkself on-loan from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 in this summer’s transfer window. The player signed a four month contract as Robin Dutt faced injury problems to Rene Adler and were in desperate need of a replacement.
Bernd Leno claimed that he tries to emulate http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Neuer-c23424 in his game as he thinks the Bayern Munich man is a complete player. He hailed Neuer’s performances this season and insisted that he is surely a major contributor to the
Munich giants’ success this season. The youngster added that he learns a lot from his role model and tries to improve every aspect of his game.
“For me, it is Manuel Neuer. He is a complete keeper who controls everything. He catches everything securely and is great on the line. I model myself on him,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The 19-year old described the Euro Under-17 triumph as a great triumph and stated that he has learned a lot from the experience. He added that his patience has paid off as now he plays for one of the best clubs in the Bundesliga
and also has the chance of playing in the UEFA Champions League with some of the best teams.
The goalkeeper stated that he has learned a lot after playing teams like Chelsea and Valencia in the Champions League and still sees room for improvement.
“It was a great experience to win the [2009] Under-17 European Championship, and I have learned that as a substitute one should be patient. Sometimes it takes time to reach a goal. That wait has paid off. Now I play in the Champions

Bayer Leverkusen will next face FC Kaiserslautern on Friday, November 18, in a Bundesliga fixture and will be in search of a sixth win this season.
