Bayer Leverkusen’s Rene Adler unhappy with the officials – Bundesliga news 
Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper, Rene Adler, has expressed frustration over the club officials for leaking out the contract talks. He reckoned that the issue could have been kept a secret by the club officials but they made it public. He further urged the management
to stay quiet over the matter and finalise the deal one way or the other.
Adler told that he had requested the officials for a salary increase to which they replied in the negative. He further mentioned that the club are financially stable and there was no particular reason for rejecting the request. The player also believed that
the management should have kept the matters inside the BayArena.
The shot-stopper enthused that this step wasn’t necessary as it has bought discomfort amongst the team ranks. He asked the team management to burry this matter for the time being and let him and other players concentrate on their training. The player was
hopeful of finishing one step ahead from the last season, where they finished runners-up to Borussia Dortmund.
In an interview to the club’s website, the 26-year-old told, "Something like this is completely unnecessary. This brings trouble into the club. This has me totally disappointed. And this I have made known internally.   I want to prepare myself now for the
new season and that is why we have pushed the issue aside.''
The Werkself manager, Robin Dutt, admitted the fact that the contract talks are an internal matter and should only be kept between the player and the club. He was apologetic towards the player and assured him against the rise of any such issues in the future.
Adler made his way into the Leverkusen’s senior side in 2003 and has made 138 Bundesliga appearances so far. The player made his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 debut in 2008 and has 10 international caps under his belt until now.
Leverkusen will travel away to take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 05 on Sunday, August 7, in their first game of 2011/12 Bundesliga campaign.
