Bayer Leverkusen General Manager Rudi Voller has revealed that AC Milan have made an offer for midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arturo-Vidal-c6760. He stated that the player could leave if they get a good offer but as of now, the Chilean is staying with Werkself.
Vidal has been widely linked with a move away from Leverkusen this summer. Bayern Munich were said to be heading the race to sign the midfielder but in the past few weeks http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 and AC Milan have also expressed the desire to add
the player to their ranks.
Rudi Voller insisted that the club are in no need to sell the defensive midfielder but if a big money offer comes, they could think about it. He added that AC Milan have made a bid in the range of 10 million Euros for the player
which is well below from what the club want.
Bayern Munich have been after the Chilean in this summer’s transfer market as new manager Jupp Heynckes looks to strengthen his squad by bringing the player from his former club. The tactician is a huge admirer of Vidal and wants
him at the Allianz Arena.
“We are keen to hold on to Arturo, but we could cash in on him if a big money offer from abroad comes in. AC Milan's €10m offer is not high enough for us, though,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Voller had claimed earlier this week that Bayer Leverkusen have no intentions whatsoever to sell the player and the Chilean international is definitely in the plans of the club for the future. But it looks likely now that Werkself
will be looking to cash-in on the midfielder after reported interest from many clubs.
Arturo Vidal was one the most impressive players in the Bundesliga last season. His performances for Leverkusen won him a lot of appreciation. He had openly expressed his desire to play for Die Bayern in the next season but Bayer
Leverkusen are not ready to negotiate on the transfer tag of 15 million Euros.
