Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge blasts Arturo Vidal for joining Juventus- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has criticized former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Arturo Vidal on joining Juventus and claimed that the club is happy that he didn’t come to Allianz Arena. The chief blasted the player for
showing lack of commitment and insisted that what the Chilean did was immoral.
Earlier this month, club manager Jupp Heynckes had claimed that Vidal had agreed to join the Bavarians this summer and if the move did not materialize in this transfer window, he will surely come next year on a free transfer.
Rummenigge stated that he is not sad on not signing the player and he would never sign such players who lack commitment. He added that the midfielder had given his word to Heynckes and should learn something from the likes of Jerome
Boateng and Manuel Neuer.
The former Bayern Munich and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Alaba-c10416 will be staying at the club which will give them further options in midfield for the upcoming season.
“I do not find it a pity that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arturo-Vidal-c6760 did not come. I would rather not have such players at Bayern Munich. If the player had stuck to his word and shown the same character as [Manuel] Neuer or [Jerome] Boateng, if he were
a man of morals, then he would be here today with us. Alaba is staying, that puts Vidal's snub into perspective,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Chairman, on being asked about the protests against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Neuer-c23424, added that the goalkeeper is a Bavarian and the club will ignore any such activity against him and offer him all the support in the future.
“There will be no more talk from our side about this subject. Neuer has the Bayern genes, 100 per cent,” he concluded his conversation.
Arturo Vidal had openly expressed his desire to join Bayern Munich in a bid to mark a reunion with former boss Jupp Heynckes. But Bayer Leverkusen’s Rudi Voller refused to sell him to any club in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 and eventually ended up
in Turin.
