Bayern Munich President Uli Hoeness hints at Mario Gotze capture next summer- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich President Uli Hoeness has hinted that the club could go for Borussia Dortmund starlet Mario Gotze when the season ends. He claimed that the midfielder has immense quality and is a bright prospect for the future.
Gotze has been a revelation for Dortmund after he was given a chance to prove himself and fill in the boots of injured midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Kagawa-c33364 in the previous campaign. His form had been sensational throughout the second-half
of the season and has started the current season also brilliantly.
The attacking midfielder had already been linked to the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Manchester United in this summer’s transfer window but the Borussians have remained firm that they want to keep the player for the future.
Hoeness claimed that Bayern would look at the player’s contract situation next summer and then decide what to do. He added that there have been instances in the past when players said that they want to stay but eventually end up
at the Allianz Arena.
“If his contract runs out, we'll see what happens. Many players said in the past that they would never go to Bayern, but eventually came,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The President insisted that it is a matter for the future and it will surely be looked upon once the season ends. He added that if the midfielder is still in brilliant touch and there is need for an acquisition, Bayern will surely
hold talks with Dortmund for a possible transfer.
Hoeness insisted that it would be fantastic to have one of the most talented youngsters of the country at your club to add further quality.
