Thomas Muller claimed that his team will be looking to win the competition as the players’ confidence is high after the Champions League triumph. The player added that every individual will give his 100% in the game but admitted that the season has been
a tough and a tiring one for his team.
“The cup has gained in importance, because the prize on offer is more than just the cup, we can make history. It won’t be 85%, it’ll be 100 percent and nothing less. We were a little heavy legged yesterday, you sensed things were still a little out of shape.
But it was better today,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The German international claimed that Stuttgart will be hungry for success after a mixed season and Bayern cannot afford to get complacent even if they have had a brilliant season. The player added that the team will have to work hard as the match has not
been won yet.
“Naturally, they’ll get stuck in. Stuttgart can salvage their entire season by winning the cup, so they’ll give it everything they’ve got, we have not won the match yet. In this game as in every other, we’ll have to work for our success,” he concluded.
