Bayern’s new singing, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Xherdan-Shaqiri-c37074, wants to help the club regain its top spot in the Bundesliga.
The Switzerland international joined Bayern Munich from FC Basel for an undisclosed fee. He signed a four-year contract which will keep him at the club until 2016. Shaqiri was Bayern’s first signing of the season,
he is understood to be bought for the future.
At a tender age of 17 the playmaker established himself as an integral part of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Basel-c39079 first team. The left-footed playmaker is known for his set deadly set-pieces and a lethal shot. He mostly plays in the hole just behind the
main striker, but is comfortable with playing on either wing.
Many experts suggest that the youngster’s eventual position will be in the middle of the park as an offensive/box to box midfielder. At the age of 20 he has considerable amount of UEFA Champions League experience, and his best
performance in the competition was against the European giants Manchester United, where he assisted two goals as his side defeated the Red Devils.
His fine performances for the Swiss giants caught the eye of many top European clubs but the Bavarians were quick to strike a deal with his club.
After joining the Shaqiri reveals that his first priority will be fire the Bavarian giants to the Bundesliga title, or at least end the season with some silverware, which the club have not won for a few years.
"Clearly, the objective at FC Bayern is to win titles. They haven't been winning for the last few years so they must get a title,” he is quoted as saying in an interview.
The Swiss starlet also took time to praise the Bundesliga champions; he believes the Black Yellows have a lot of quality in their ranks. The midfielder also revealed that he is relishing the chance of playing against other teams
in the Bundesliga.
"It's difficult because Borussia Dortmund is a good team and they proved this year that they have good players. There are other teams in the Bundesliga, who have also strengthened themselves. I hope it's going to be exciting and
I hope we will make it in the end,” he added.
The step up to the German League from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Switzerland-c3016 would be a massive one but a player of Shaqiri’s quality would settle in quickly. The playmaker’s quality will surely keep Bayern’s established stars on their toes.
