Bayern Munich defender Rafinha satisfied with Wolfsburg victory- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich defender Rafinha has stated that he is satisfied with the win at Wolfsburg. The former Genoa player added that the win was very important considering the side’s title chances as they had lost the opening fixture against
Borussia Monchengladbach at home.
Bayern downed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 1-0 at the Volkswagen Arena as Luiz Gustavo scored a late goal to secure all three points for his side on Saturday. The Bavarian giants climbed to 11th place with the win and are behind the

Rafinha claimed that it was a vital win as Wolfsburg are a strong side and have been very busy in the transfer window to add some great quality to their squad. He added that it was a great match and both teams had ample chances
to score.
“[The win] was very important. We had a good match. In the first-half we created some opportunities that could have been transformed into goals, but we didn't manage to score,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Brazilian insisted that Bayern played the better football in the second period and deserved to win thanks to a goal in the dying minutes by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luiz-Gustavo-c22844. However, the full-back was satisfied with the performance and hailed
the determination of the players throughout the match.
“We also had a clear chance at the beginning of the second period, but the important thing is that the victory came in the last minute,” he continued.
The former Schalke player admitted that the first win of the season in the Bundesliga would give the team some great confidence ahead of the UEFA Champions League qualifier against FC Zurich on Wednesday.
“This is good because it gives the team confidence and we can go into the match on Wednesday with this confidence,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich will take on FC Zurich at the Allianz Arena in the Champions League qualifier as they finished third on the Bundesliga standings table last season. The second-leg will be played at Letzigrund in Zurich next week.
