Bayern Munich defender Rafinha wishes to return to the Brazil national team
Bayern Munich full-back Rafinha has stated that he wishes to return to the Brazil national team squad. The player admitted that it is his dream to represent the country in the next World Cup and wants to be consistent in his performances
to prove a point.
The former Schalke and Genoa defender has so far represented his country only once in his career and wants to be part of the Samba Boys’ squad in the future. His displays recently have been impressive and the player has added a
lot of quality to the Bavarian defence.
Rafinha claimed that it is his dream to return for the Brazil national team. He insisted that his move to Bayern Munich is a huge step ahead and playing in the UEFA Champions League this season would further help his cause.
The former Genoa man admitted that there is immense competition for the right-back position with the likes of Dani Alves and Maicon involved but added that his displays for the German giants could give him the opportunity to progress.

to have another opportunity to represent my country,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Brazilian added that he is not thinking about the 2014 World Cup in Brazil at the moment and wants to keep the focus on his performances for Bayern Munich. The player insisted that his impressive displays in the Bundesliga
and Europe would put him in contention for Brazil naturally.
“I just want to think about my game and the World Cup will come after. I must not devote myself only to defensive duties; with Bayern I must also attack. If I keep working, I think the national team will come naturally,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich will face Hamburg SV in the next Bundesliga clash at the Allianz Arena.
