Bayern Munich destroy Trentino Auswahl in a preseason friendly – Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich kick started their preseason campaign with a breathtaking 15-0 win over Trentino Auswahl. The match took place on Wednesday, July 6.
Manager Jupp Heynckes went out with a complete squad and Bayern were unstoppable for the whole 90 minutes. The opposition acted as mere spectators and could do nothing apart from applauding the efforts of the Bundesliga giants.
Munich started the game as firm favourites and went on a rampage from the very first minute of the game. Mario Gomez and new arrival, Nils Petersen, were phenomenal from the start and caused defensive worries for Trentino very early in the game. Gomez, who
was the Bundesliga top scorer last season, opened the scoring on the 6th minute mark. Auswahl never looked settled and were continuously forced on the back foot by the Bavarians.

already over from Trentino’s perspective but Munich players were determined to get the match fitness ahead of the new season.

minute to increase the count to 10-0.

and Petersen was at hand to make it 14-0 in the very next minute. The German completed his hat-trick just two minutes later in the 87th minute to end the local training club’s misery, who succumbed to a 15-0 margin.
Bayern Munich will start their new campaign against Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday, August 7 at Allianz-Arena.
