Bayern Munich full-back Rafinha has stated that his team is well capable of competing with the likes of Barcelona in next year’s UEFA Champions League. Although he still rated the Catalan giants as the favourites to defend the
Premier club competition in Europe, but insisted that it will not be easy for Pep Guardiola’s side this time round.
The Bavarian giants had a disappointing season last term as they ended in third place with 65 points and were unable to win any trophy. Bayern’s displays in the season ended were in complete contrast to their performances in the
2009-10 campaign when they won the domestic double and reached the final of the Champions League.
Rafinha admitted that Barcelona will again be the favourites to win the title as they have some World class players in their ranks. He hailed the likes of Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 and claimed that the dangerous
trio will again be crucial in the club’s progress.

The former Schalke defender revealed that Bayern will be a strong team next term as they have signed some very good players this summer. He also believes that Die Bayern will be able to put in some strong competition for some of
the top clubs in Europe to fight for the Champions League title.
