The goalie was talking after his side’s 2-1 loss to Hannover on Sunday, October 23, at AWD-Arena. This loss also ended Bayern’s 13-match unbeaten run, while also breaking Neuer’s hopes of creating a domestic record.

Neuer showed disbelief at Bayern’s loss to Hannover and urged his teammates to regain composure ahead of the club’s next game. The goalkeeper also admitted of his team’s missed chances during the game on Sunday.
The former Schalke shot-stopper remained positive despite losing and termed it as an ‘eye-opener’ for his side. He expressed confidence in his team’s abilities and assured of a recovery sooner than later.
The shot-stopper reckoned that had his side not missed some easy chances, the entire result could have been different.
While talking to Bayern’s official website, the 25-year-old further mentioned, "Overall, it was a very unlucky defeat, but we're very stable. We have a lot of international players in the squad, and we know what we're capable of.”
He concluded the talks by saying, "We won’t drive ourselves mad. We still believe in ourselves and we’ll set off on a new run, starting with the DFB Pokal game against Ingolstadt and then on Saturday in the league against Nurnberg."
Bayern are currently atop the league table with 22 points from 10 games and will return to league action on Saturday, October 29, against FC Nurnberg.
