The Paris Saint-Germain has not really impressed Carlo Ancelotti but reports claim that the France international has impressed the Champions League finalists to earn a move to Bavaria
Last night, while talking to media, Montpellier Herault striker, Olivier Giroud admitted that he will welcome a move to German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. While talking to Bild, the 25-year-old said that his agent has been contacted by the Bavarians
and further revealed that he loves the idea of playing alongside German international Mario Gomez.
However, it appears that the Champions League finalists are keeping their options open. Reports claim that the Bavarians are also monitoring the situation of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Lorient-c39153 last summer but
has not been able to make a lasting impression on coach Carlo Ancelotti.
The striker has been criticised for his inability to score goals on a regular basis. In recent times, especially since Ancelotti’s appointment, the striker has largely been confined to substitute appearances.
However, Bayern Munich may be willing to offer Gameiro an exit from his quandary this summer when the transfer window opens. The German giants apparently feel that the partnership of Mario Gomez and Gameiro could prove to be a perfect pairing.
Since Carlo Ancelotti took over, Gameiro has made just nine starts and is frustrated by his situation. Worse, his main competitor is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Guillaume-Hoarau-c15332, who has also been relegated to the bench as Ancelotti’s system (4-3-2-1) doesn’t really require an out
and out striker.
But if everything seems to favour a departure, PSG may not be willing to sell. On one hand, Gameiro has suffered due to the excessive individualism of his teammates especially Nene. Many people argue that had the likes of Nene, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082
not been that individualistic, Gameiro current stats of 11 goals in 33 games would have been much better.
The player has been in and out of the squad far too often which is another reason why his confidence is at a low.
However, Gameiro would still be looking to end his time at the club as his chances of playing in the Euros this summer have already extinguished since he joined PSG.
