Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes alerts his team ahead of the Champions League
Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes feels that his side have been drawn in the group of death for the upcoming UEFA Champions League. The Bavarians have been placed in Group A alongside the likes of Villarreal, Manchester City and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003.
Heynckes alerted his team ahead of the competition urging them to stay on their toes from the very first minute. He pointed out Manchester City as the biggest threat considering the big names that the Citizens have signed during the past two seasons.
The manager feels that his side could certainly go beyond the group stages of the competition but not before having their work cut out. He warned his side against any complacency going into the tournament. Heynckes reckons that his team’s progress in the
Bundesliga will be very important.

Heynckes reserved praise for his side saying that the Bavarians are a perfect mixture of youth and experience, which plays an important role in any team’s success. He regarded the fixture against the Citizens as the one which could make or break Munich’s
ambitions.

With three games into the 2011/12 season, Bayern find themselves third on the league table with six points. Jupp Heynckes’ side are up against FC Kaiserslautern in their next league game on Saturday, August 27.
