is confident that he will be able to make his mark in the team.
Usami joined the Bavarian giants from J-League club http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gamba-Osaka-c39399 this summer and has signed a one-year loan deal. The German side will have the option to buy the player at the end of the season according to the contract.
Heynckes hailed the youngster after he completed his first training session with his new club and admitted that the midfielder has a bright future. The manager said that Usami works really hard in training and that he has the willingness
to learn from his mistakes.
“He's a young, lively player, who’s keen to find out more and willing to learn. He's a very appealing character too. He's a good lad and very hard-working,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to the club’s official website.
The former Bayer Leverkusen manager claimed that the player will definitely need time to adjust to the conditions. He stated that the Japanese League and the Bundesliga are two totally different leagues and everything will be new
for him at this point of time.
“Everything will be new for him here, and he'll definitely need a little time to integrate,” he concluded.
Takashi Usami was delighted after training with his new club. The attacking midfielder admitted that the training sessions are really tough as he had expected but is confident that he will be able to cope with it.
The Japanese also desires to play some regular football with the club and score goals to prove himself at the highest stage.
“I already thought the level at Bayern Munich would be exceptionally high, and the first training sessions have confirmed that thought. I want to play as often as possible and score goals,” the player added.
Takashi Usami was named J-League’s Young Player of the Year in 2010.
