Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes hints at Arjen Robben playing against FC Zurich- UCL news
Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has hinted that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521 will start against FC Zurich in the UEFA Champions League qualifier. The tactician stated that it is  a very important match and admitted that he would surely put
in a strong team against the Swiss giants on Wednesday.
Die Bayern will take on FC Zurich in a play-off match on Wednesday in the first of the two legs. The winning team from the course of two legs will qualify for the group stages of the Champions League. German champions Borussia
Dortmund and runners-up Bayer Leverkusen have already achieved automatic progress to the group stages of the competition.
Heynckes admitted that it will be a difficult match against the Swiss side. He insisted that the team would surely look for a good result in the first leg and a win with a margin so that the result in the second-leg does not matter
that much.
The former Leverkusen manager added that Robben could start the match as he had some playing time already in the Bundesliga clash against Wolfsburg. He added that the Dutch international has been training well in the past few days
and is expected to start the European clash.
“It's going to be a difficult but interesting task. The Champions League is the icing on the European football cake. It was better that he didn't play, not even for 20 minutes. He's trained well for three days now. I'd prefer to
have him at full strength so he can perform at his very best,” the manager was quoted as saying in an interview.
Meanwhile, club captain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Philipp-Lahm-c29929 is determined for a great performance in the fixture as he desperately wants to play in the competition. He stated that all the players are confident and the preparations have been going great.
The full-back expects a positive result on Wednesday.
“We know how great it is to play in the Champions League. Everyone is completely focused. We'll be as well-prepared as possible,” he added.
The return leg will be played at Letzigrund in Zurich next week.
