Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes insists Schweinsteiger is going nowhere- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has insisted that midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is not for sale. He claimed that the player is an important part of the side and Bayern have no intentions whatsoever to sell the German international
to any club in Europe.
Schweinsteiger has been widely linked with a move away from Allianz Arena in this summer’s transfer window. His future has been subject to widespread speculation and he has been heavily linked to Italian giants AC Milan.
Milan’s Vice President http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 Galliani has claimed on numerous occasions that the club will sign a midfielder this summer but have refused to reveal the name, labelling him as Mister X. According to recent reports, the German
midfielder is said to be the player and the target of the Italian champions.
Jupp Heynckes denied any reports linking the player to San Siro and claimed that Bastian is a vital part of the Bayern midfield and he is going nowhere. The manager stated that the player has a binding contract with the Bavarian
outfit and he will surely honour it.
The former Bayer Leverkusen boss compared the midfielder to the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 duo Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta. He claimed that the player has been influential in the success of both club and country in recent times and
is confident that he will remain at Allianz Arena.
“http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bastian-Schweinsteiger-c7374 is held in high regard at this club. A year ago he was playing on the same level as players such as Xavi and Andre Iniesta. He is not for sale,” he was quoted as saying.
However, AC Milan manager refused to comment on the news and stated that he will only talk about the Milan’s players. He insisted that the club still has some work left in the transfer window.
“There are always plenty of transfer rumours in the summer, but I will not speak about Schweinsteiger out of respect, and only about the Milan players,” the Rossoneri boss added.
Bayern Munich will take on AC Milan in an Audi Cup clash on Tuesday, July 26.
