Bayern Munich midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk frustrated on being played out of position
Bayern Munich midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk has expressed his frustration on being played out of position. The player claimed that playing in many different positions affects the performance and it is definitely not an easy task.
He also insisted that there is lack of communication between him and the manager which is not good for the team.
Jupp Heynckes joined Bayern Munich this summer after guiding Bayer Leverkusen to a second place finish in the last season. He signed a pre-season agreement with the German giants and this will be his third stint as Bayern manager.
Tymoshchuk claimed that he played in midfield, which is his natural position, against AC Milan in the Audi Cup semi-final but had to play in the central defence against European champions Barcelona in the final of the tournament.
He added that playing in many different positions is not easy for a player and this could result in inconsistency.
“Against Milan, I played my position, against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 I played in central defence. This is not easy,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Ukrainian international admitted that there is lack of communication with the new manager and Heynckes does not speak to all the players in the squad.
“I do not speak much to the coach. He tells me whether I play or not today. Next week he tells me, whether I play or then again not. I can just concentrate on myself. This is the normal atmosphere in the team - the coach does not
speak to all players,” he continued.
The former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder admitted that he has many options to play abroad at the moment but he wants to play for Bayern and end his career at the club.
“I could plan another way, there are many options for me, many other teams. But I want to play for Bayern,” the player concluded.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anatoliy-Tymoshchuk-c5539 made 37 appearances for Die Bayern in the last campaign and scored four goals in the process. The midfielder also has 106 international caps to his name and has found the net four times.
