“My future probably lies abroad. However, it's difficult to really say anything about it as long as I haven't signed anything. I hope that I will be able to announce my decision somewhere next week. I don't want to wait too long as I want some time to mentally prepare for the next step in my career,” the player was quoted as saying.
The midfielder added that there had been a lot of reports of him being linked to numerous clubs in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 and Italy and he can now confirm that he will leave. He admitted that he was unsure but has made up his mind due to lack of first-team football.
“There has always been a lot of speculation about my future and there was some truth in it most of the time. I was never really sure though whether I wanted to leave or stay put. I can now confirm that I will move abroad though,” he concluded.
Hamit Altintop has scored 11 goals in his four seasons with the Bavarians, making a total of 99 appearances. The winger also has 55 international caps to his name, finding the net six times for his country.
