to many opportunities for him and is confident that his performances will continue to be even better if he continues playing.
Arjen Robben has been out recovering from a hernia operation which he underwent earlier this month. The winger’s start to the season has again been plagued with injuries and his absence has benefitted Toni Kroos the most. The young
midfielder has taken his chances and has put in some brilliant performances in the absence of the Dutchman.
Kroos claimed that he does not know anything about Robben’s injury and when he will return. He admitted that Robben is an integral part of the team and his fitness would be a huge boost for the side. The midfielder stated that
he is satisfied with his recent performances and is hopeful that Jupp Heynckes will have a difficult time selecting the side with Robben in the squad.
“First of all, I do not even know anything about the state of his [Robben's] condition. I do not know when he will be fit again. The other thing is, I've had consistently good performances since the beginning of the season, so
I am not worried,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to Goal.com.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man is certain that Bayern will make a strong comeback after a draw and a defeat at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162 and is sure of securing
three points at the end of the day.
“Less self-confident? No, why? We played good games against Napoli and Hannover. We just weren't rewarded. Napoli are not yet on our minds. We absolutely want to show in the Bundesliga that we can continue to win and move forward,”
he concluded.
Toni Kroos has made 16 appearances so far for Bayern Munich this season and scored one goal in the process.
