Bayern Munich satisfied with the acquisitions in this summer’s transfer window- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich duo Christian Nerlinger and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge have stated that they are satisfied with the club’s progress in this summer’s transfer window. They claimed that the club’s work has been done this summer but still
insisted that a transfer could take place until the window closes.
The Munich giants have already spent a staggering 44 million Euros to land in the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Neuer-c23424, Rafinha, Nils Petersen and Jerome Boateng. The former German champions have also expressed their desire to buy Bayer Leverkusen’s
star midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arturo-Vidal-c6760 but the transfer fee has been the main issue.
The club’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sporting-89-c40576 Director Christian Nerlinger insisted that the team is now ready to face any challenge in the upcoming season. He claimed that the squad has considerably improved this summer from last season and that he is
now looking forward to a great year ahead.
Nerlinger also hinted of another transfer in this summer’s transfer window as he stated that the activity has not yet ended and that there is a possibility of another acquisition.
“The whole team is ready. The prerequisites for a successful season are in place. A transfer is still possible, nothing else,” he was quoted as saying to the club’s official website.
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge revealed that the club could sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Arturo Vidal this summer if they get him for a reasonable price. Jupp Heynckes reportedly wants the player from his former club as he
wants to add more quality to the midfield.
The Chairman insisted that if Leverkusen agree a fee in the range of 11 million, the transfer could still take place otherwise Bayern has enough quality in midfield that they can cope without the Chilean international.
“We've got all the players we wanted and already have a great midfield. If the transfer is completed at a reasonable price (around 11 million), it can be realized, otherwise not,” the CEO claimed.
Bayern Munich will start their Bundesliga campaign against Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday, August 7, at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
