After interest from Bayern Munich, Manuel Neuer refused to sign a new contract with the club he started his career from. been reached for the goalkeeper but the deal is not finalised yet.
Schalke want to sign a replacement first before letting Neuer go and Kevin Trapp is the most likely option. The goalkeeper’s club have set a nine million Euro price tag but there are rumours that the Royal Blues have made a five million Euro bid. The youngster
has shown immense potential in the nine league appearances he has made for Kaiserslautern this season. He is also a member of the German national U-21 team.
