The Munich giants have secured the signing of Swiss wonder kid Xherdan Shaqiri from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Basel-c39079 for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old had been linked to a number of clubs in the January transfer window including the likes of Hamburg SV, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and Paris-Saint Germain. But the Bavarian side was successful in beating off competition from some
of the top sides and acquiring the player.

On the other hand, Bayern manager Jupp Heynckes stated his side is fortunate to have another talented youngster coming in the summer. He insisted that the Swiss international is certainly a valuable addition to the squad and stated
that the player can become a vital part of the team in the future.
“Xherdan’s intelligent play and dribbling skill will add to our team’s strength next season. I’ve been observing him for a while now, and I’m convinced he can become a very important player for FC Bayern,” the former Bayer Leverkusen
boss concluded.
