The Bavarian giants are reportedly closing in on Borussia Monchengladbach defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dante-c10236 and could lose Nils Petersen in the summer.
Bayern Munich could announce Dante’s arrival at the Allianz Arena immediately after the German Cup semi-final clash with Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday, March 21. The centre-back has been on Bayern’s radar for some time
now and had himself previously stated his desire to play for one of the top clubs in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904.
Dante vows to win silverware while playing for a top side and if reports are to be believed, then the Reds bosses have agreed to pay the 4.7 million Euro buy-out clause for the defender’s signature. The 28-year-old joined Gladbach
in 2009 and is yet to win something of note with the Foals.
The former Lille player is currently determined to seal a spot in the final of the German Cup by defeating his to-be employers on Wednesday, March 21. He admitted that Bayern are going through a purple patch at the moment and it
would be difficult to upstage them despite being at home. However, he assured that the Foals will give their all in order to play the final and win much deserved silverware.
While talking to a local publication, Kicker, Dante further added: "Bayern are on a really favourable run and are scoring an unbelievable number of goals. Each of us dreams of the final and wants to go to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536."
On the other hand, Nuremberg have confirmed their interest in Bayern Munich striker, Nils Petersen. The Frankenstadion outfit believes that Petersen could end their attacking problems and help the club achieve better results from
next season onwards.
Petersen also admitted about an interest from Nuremberg and expressed his desire to join Dieter Hecking’s side in order to get first team opportunities. He specified that his transfer to Bayern has not proved to be a wise decision
mostly because of his limited opportunities.
The striker had earlier insisted to part ways with the Bavarian giants at the end of this season and Nuremberg option could not have come at a better time. "Of course I'm disappointed [with my situation]. I'm no longer striker
number two and that means little or no playing time," Petersen concluded.
Bayern are currently second in the league standings with 54 points and will be up against the Foals in the DFB-Pokal semi-final on March 21.
