the clubs playing in Munich to get a favourable result to increase their chances of progressing to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Bayern deployed an offensive looking line up as Mueller and Gomes were used as the home team’s two forwards with Schweinsteiger providing the drive and creativity from the midfield department at the back, Phillip Lahm kept things
together as the Bayern Munich captain whilst http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Neuer-c23424 protected the home team’s goal.

Napoli penalty area as he provided an emphatic finish with his left foot to give his team the lead.
In the 22nd minute, Bayern Munich doubled their advantage as this time Thomas Mueller played in his strike partner Gomes who volleyed the ball home after the home side took a short corner and caught Napoli off guard.
In the 42nd minute, Bayern threatened the Napoli goal once again as this time Ribery laid the ball off for Kroos who’s first time shot was only parried away by the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 goalkeeper into the path of Gomes who tapped
in his third goal of the match to complete his hatrick.
Just before the half time whistle, Napoli pulled a goal back as Fernandez headed in Lavezzi’s free kick inside the Bayern Munich penalty area. Shortly after the first half came to a close as the score line rested at 3-1.
