Uli Hoeness has showered praise on midfielder, Toni Kroos, and has identified him as one of the key members in the Bayern Munich squad.
The President has rated Kroos as a ‘special talent’, and he believes that they need more players like the German international emerging from the club’s youth system if they want to become the number one team in Europe in the future.
Hoeness reckons that the young German has had a remarkable spell at the Allianz-Arena so far and tipped him to become a Bavarian legend.
The President hailed the talent emerging from the youth setup at Allianz Arena, and he is expecting big things from Kroos and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Alaba-c10416 in the future. The 59-year-old believes that Bayern are on par with Barcelona in producing
young talent from within the club, but people only talk about the Catalans.
While talking to DPA, the 59-year-old further mentioned:
"People only talk about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and their young talent. But we are not so bad. Look at our current team: [Bastian] Schweinsteiger, [Philipp] Lahm, [Thomas] Muller, [Holger] Badstuber, [Toni] Kroos and [David] Alaba. Kroos has
made sensational personal development. If you want to catch Barca, you need such a player."
Kroos has been an influential figure in his team’s recent success so far this season. He has formed a formidable partnership with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Ballack-c25270 in the national
team too.
Kroos emerged from the youth setup of Bayern, and made his senior team debut in 2007. The 21-year-old has gone onto make 62 appearances for the former German Champions. He earned his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 cap in 2010, and has bagged two goals
from 24 international appearances until now.
The midfielder has also become an important member of Joachim Low’s German squad, and is expected to play a huge part in their Euro 2012 challenge.
