Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery confident of reclaiming the top spot
Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has stated that he is confident that his side will reclaim the top spot in the Bundesliga. The player insisted that it has been a tough two weeks for the side as they have suffered consecutive
defeats for the first time this season in the league but is hopeful that the performances would improve in the coming weeks.

are in second place. The Bavarian giants have accumulated 28 points from the 14 games played and are a point behind Dortmund and Monchengladbach.
Ribery was all praise for manager Jupp Heynckes and claimed that he has been brilliant in guiding the club to the heights of success this season. He admitted that Heynckes has had a huge impact on the team and is hopeful that the
team will make a strong comeback next week to reclaim the lead in the league.
“I get along with him [Heynckes] brilliantly. I feel his trust, his human touch. He talks a lot with us that clears my head when I'm on the pitch,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The French international added that Bayern has shown the whole of Europe with the football it has played this season that they can be on par with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and Real Madrid. He insisted that the club is now well capable
of competing against the top teams in the world.
The former Olympique Marseille midfielder added that the team’s target at the end of the season would be to win back the Bundesliga.
“Barcelona set the standards. Real have a very, very good team. But we've gained ground and are getting closer to the top. The season is long and a lot can happen. But one thing is certain: we want to be top till the end, if possible,”
he concluded.
Bayern Munich will next face a tough test against Werder Bremen at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.
