Bayern Munich midfielder, Arjen Robben, has expressed pleasure after knowing the extent of his ankle injury which forced him off the field during his team’s Audi Cup game with against Serie A champions, AC Milan.
It was believed that the Dutch international would miss the start of the season but the club’s medical staff has confirmed about the minor nature of the injury. They were confident that the 27-year-old would be fit in time to appear in his team’s opening
game against Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday, August 7.
Robben told that it was a scary moment when he had to leave the field against Milan but was all at praise for the medical staff which he reckoned did extremely well to take all the necessary measures required to counter his injury. The player was looking
forward for a better campaign and urged his side to raise their game as compared to the last season.
