Bayern Munich defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Van-Buyten-c10095 has been declared fit to take part in the upcoming league fixture against Bayer Leverkusen. The player suffered an Achilles injury during the Champions League game against Villarreal and has been out of action since
then.
The centre-back was reportedly seen in training and has now been pronounced fit by the club’s medical staff. The 33-year-old missed the club’s last league game against Schalke due to the same problem. However, he is now certain to feature on Saturday.
The player himself confirmed about his recovery and is eager to play against the Werkself. He also showed gratitude to the club’s medical staff for working hard upon his fitness and enabling him to play again in literally no time.
While talking to the local newspaper, van Buyten added, "The injury isn't completely healed yet, but things are already going a lot better. “
Bayern manager Jupp Heynckes expressed pleasure at the player’s improving health and confirmed about the Belgian’s inclusion against Leverkusen. The Bavarians winger, Franck Ribery, stated that van Buyten’s role in the centre is crucial and his presence
