The French international is satisfied with his form this season but insists there is still room for improvement.
The Munich giants started the ongoing season sensationally but have slipped in their last few games in the Bundesliga and have suffered two defeats at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521 and Franck Ribery through injury but now have a fully fit squad at their disposal.
Ribery returned to the starting line-up in the Wolfsburg clash, after serving a three-match ban for his sending off against FC Koln. The winger was in sensational form and was regularly involved in creating opportunities for his side.
The former Olympique Marseille winger admitted that he is satisfied with his form and is delighted to be back in the team. The player admitted that the game against Wolfsburg has surely given him a lot of confidence and that he is eager to perform in the future games for Bayern Munich.
“I feel really good, and I think I put in some very good work in the training camp in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Qatar-c2986. I then had 85 minutes against Wolfsburg, and I'm very, very satisfied. What I need now is a little more rhythm,” he was quoted as saying in an interview to Bayern Munich’s official website.
The French international further added that all the top four teams are capable of winning the Bundesliga at the end of the season. He insisted that Borussia Dortmund and Schalke are the closest rivals and currently are level on points with the Bavarian giants.
The player predicted that the race for the Bundesliga crown will go down to the wire and that they are no favourites at the moment.
“Four teams are in it at the moment. I think it'll remain very tough. We have to focus on ourselves and win as many games as possible. I think our toughest rivals are Dortmund and Schalke,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich will next face Hamburg in the Bundesliga at the Imtech Arena this Saturday, February 4. The side cannot afford to drop points as Dortmund and Schalke are right on their heels.
