Bayern Munich’s Karl-Heinz Rummenigge eager to win against Manchester City
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has claimed that the club is targeting another win against Manchester City in the final group stage fixture at the City of Manchester Stadium next month. He stated that the team will never
take the fixture for granted despite already qualifying for the knock-out stage whilst topping the group.

Rummenigge claimed that the team will surely play for a win in Manchester next month and will not be complacent. He insisted that they would want to end the round on a winning note and continue with their unbeaten run so far in
the competition. He added that there a lot of hopes from the team and Bayern will prove that they are one of the best in Europe.
“We are still going to try and win in Manchester. After winning such a tough group, all you can do is pay a compliment to the team and the coach. The team did what we expected in that they won again,” he was quoted as saying in
an interview.
Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has kept his hopes alive of playing in the UEFA Champions League final in Munich at the end of the season. He insisted that winning the competition would definitely be a dream come true for him
and remained confident that the team will continue to dominate.
“I hope that we can play in the final in Munich. That would be a dream. We just have to keep our calm and keep playing so well and not have any fear,” the French international added.
