Bayern Munich’s Rafinha rates Arjen Robben as the most difficult to play against - Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich’s Rafinha rates teammate http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521 as the most difficult footballer to play against. The Brazilian believes that it is not always easy to keep up pace with the Dutchman.
He praised his ability to move forward on a consistent basis and feels honoured to play alongside the winger. Rafinha recently joined the Bundesliga giants during the summer and has had a decent start to life in Munich.
The player was talking ahead of his club’s next league game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SC-Freiburg-c40462. A win on Saturday will help Bayern maintain their top spot on the table. Robben is highly likely to remain absent from the game due to a groin problem. Bayern manager Jupp Heynckes
is unlikely to risk his ace winger ahead of the upcoming UEFA Champions League encounters against Villarreal and Manchester City.
Rafinha stated that Robben’s attacking instincts are a major plus for Bayern as the winger provides them with extra width on the park. Rafinha reinstated the fact that Robben’s pace could easily put any defender under pressure.
While talking to the local news channel, the 26-year-old enthused, "Robben is a fantastic footballer. However, he is an extremely attacking player and there has to be someone who covers his back. That's not an easy task. I don't get to charge forward as
much as I'd like to do because of his style of play. It's really not much of a problem though when you know you're working for a player like Robben."
Rafinha landed at Allianz Arena during this summer from the Serie A-based outfit, CFC Genoa. He has made three appearances so far following his transfer. Bundesliga isn’t a new experience for the wingback, as he spent five years with Schalke (2005-2010)
before his switch to the Rossoblu.
The defender earned his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 debut in 2008 during the Beijing Olympics but he has failed to appear again for his country.
