Bayern Munich youngster Takashi Usami has admitted that there is still room for improvement. The player claimed that he will take some time to settle down at the club and added that he will have to step up in training in order
to get used to the German game.
The Bavarian giants successfully secured a loan deal for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Takashi-Usami-c34524 this month from J-League club Gamba Osaka. The German giants have the option of paying the transfer fee at the end of the campaign and make the deal permanent.
The Japanese youngster rose to prominence last year when he was named the Japanese League’s Best Young player last year after some impressive performances for his club.
Usami, who started his first game in a Bayern shirt in the third place clash of the LIGA total! Cup clash against FSV Mainz, stated that he was rather pleased with his performance but admitted that it could have been better. The
youngster hopes to improve during the course of next season with the guidance of his seniors at the club.
“Things are not smooth yet, I think I can do better. But as a first game I believe it was not bad. I need to get more used to this team. As I get used to it, I will receive more passes and gradually improve,” he was quoted as saying
in an interview.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gamba-Osaka-c39399 player added that he is still in the process of getting used to the German game and is confident that he can make an impact when the next season begins. The player is also hopeful of more playing opportunities
in the upcoming campaign so that he could prove himself.
“I wanted to do more, but I am still getting used [to Bayern's game]. Things are not coming together yet. I need to get used to the pace. At practice and in games, if I get more used to this speed, I will surely have more opportunities
to play,” he concluded.
