Bayern Munich’s Takashi Usami linked with a move away from Allianz-Arena - Bundesliga News
Bayern Munich’s on-loan attacker, Takashi Usami, has been linked with a move away from Allianz-Arena at the end of this season. It has been reported that 2. Bundesliga side, Fortuna Dusseldorf, and Bundesliga outfit, FC Augsburg, are interested in recruiting
the midfielder.
Usami has had limited number of opportunities since his arrival this season and could be on his way to another club should the situation remain unchanged.
The player was supposed to do wonders with his immaculate skills but hasn’t been a regular starter for the Allianz-Arena outfit.
Usami admitted to his departure talks but rejected any plans of leaving Allianz-Arena at the end of current campaign. He was of the view that a player gets to learn a lot at Bayern and he would prefer staying at the club in order to kick start his career.
However, the player believes that manager Jupp Heynckes should give him more chances at the club so he could justify his talent.
He also congratulated Bayern on regaining the top spot in the Bundesliga after thumping Werder Bremen 4-1 margin on Saturday.
The Bavarian giants took over from the reigning champions, Borussia Dortmund, who were jointly leading the table with Borussia Monchengladbach prior to Saturday’s game.
Usami reckoned that Bayern could go on to win the domestic league if they carry on their fine form, and the players stay fit for remainder of the 2011/12 campaign.
He, though, expressed satisfaction with his current role at the club despite not having enough opportunities in the starting XI. The attacker also denied speculations of leaving the club next summer, rather wished to sign permanently for Jupp Heynckes’ team.
While talking to Mainpost, the teenager further enthused:
"I have been taking notice of this just from the newspaper reports. At first, I was bewildered to see this being reported as fact, because I am not keen on a move away from Bayern Munich.”
Usami has just made a single appearance this season for the senior team, compared to his time in Japan where he made 43 league appearances for Gamba Osaka during his two-year stay.
